Quick summary
YallaSalon provides invoice fields and presentation tools; it does not determine your tax status or guarantee tax compliance. The salon remains responsible for its TRN, invoice details, tax treatment, records, and filings, and should confirm its setup with its accountant or UAE tax adviser.
Step-by-step
Step 1
Add the salon's TRN when applicable
Open Settings → Business profile and enter the salon's 15-digit TRN if it is VAT-registered. Check the number against the salon's tax-registration records before issuing invoices.
Step 2
Confirm the salon's tax profile
An unverified or non-registered salon receives a neutral receipt with no VAT applied. A salon with a confirmed VAT profile may issue a supported simplified tax invoice after the required supplier details pass validation; any VAT component is derived from the VAT-inclusive customer total. Confirm the salon's status and transaction treatment with its accountant.
Step 3
Create and review the invoice
Create the invoice from POS or Invoices, then review the invoice number, issue date, salon details, TRN, customer details, line items, VAT amount, and total before sharing it or recording payment.
Frequently asked questions
Are invoices bilingual?
Invoice pages can show key total labels in English and Arabic when bilingual invoice presentation is enabled. Arabic salon fields and the TRN appear only when the salon has configured them. Review the completed invoice before use.
