Terms of Service

Commercial terms for salons, staff, and booking customers using YallaSalon software and public booking surfaces.

Document status

Published 8 August 2026. This is the current bilingual release.

1. Legal identity

YallaSalon is the software service operated by the contracting entity identified in the Legal Notice. The Legal Notice publishes the operator's bilingual legal name, legal form, commercial-licence details, and support contact. Send all legal, privacy, security, support, and complaint notices to support@yallasalon.me.

2. Agreement and authority

These terms govern access to and use of YallaSalon. A person accepts the version identified on this page through the applicable signup, activation, or reacceptance workflow.

A person accepting for a salon, spa, barbershop, or other business confirms that they have authority to bind that business and will keep account and business information accurate.

3. Service and roles

YallaSalon provides business software that may include booking pages, appointment and staff management, client records, services, packages, queues, checkout, receipts or invoice fields, deposits, customer-completed payment links, messaging, reporting, imports, exports, and support tools.

The salon—not YallaSalon—is the provider of the salon appointment and is responsible for service delivery, staff, prices, policies, refunds, licences, tax treatment, and its client relationship. YallaSalon remains responsible for its own platform obligations and does not transfer them to the salon through this clause.

4. Accounts, staff access, and security

  • Provide accurate account, venue, billing, and contact information.
  • Protect passwords, magic links, devices, and authentication codes, and do not share them with unauthorized people.
  • Give staff only the access they need and remove it promptly when their role ends or changes.
  • Notify YallaSalon promptly if you suspect unauthorized access, misuse, or a security incident.

5. Salon responsibilities

The salon is responsible for content and instructions it adds to YallaSalon, including services, prices, durations, availability, policies, tax fields, location details, images, and customer messages.

  • Use only data, images, marks, and contact details that the salon is authorized to use.
  • Comply with applicable licensing, consumer, privacy, tax, employment, marketing, telecom, messaging, and payment requirements.
  • Do not send spam, deceptive content, unlawful promotions, or messages to people who have not authorized the relevant communication.
  • Honor bookings, deposits, credits, memberships, refunds, and customer policies offered by the salon.

6. Bookings, deposits, and appointment fees

The booking flow should show the salon, service, AED price, cancellation window, deposit and refund terms, and any late-cancellation or no-show fee before commitment. The salon must configure these terms accurately and fairly.

Accepting an appointment-fee policy does not authorize an automatic saved-card charge. Where the controlled fee-link feature is enabled, only an eligible salon owner request may cause the customer to receive a hosted Stripe Checkout link to review the amount and complete payment; YallaSalon will not automatically charge a saved card for that fee.

7. Plans, setup fees, billing, and renewal

The current Pricing page and final signup review show the selected plan, billing period, per-plan setup fee or waiver, add-ons, currency, due-today amount, renewal basis, and applicable provider charges. A plan-specific zero setup fee is a waiver and must not inherit another plan's fee.

The YallaSalon operator is not currently registered for UAE VAT and does not currently charge UAE VAT on platform fees. This statement concerns YallaSalon platform fees only; each salon remains responsible for determining and applying its own tax status and treatment.

  • Recurring subscription charges may be collected through the selected payment processor according to the review shown before purchase.
  • Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period when that is the option shown in Billing; access consequences must be shown before confirmation.
  • Refund eligibility depends on the displayed offer, mandatory law, and any approved written agreement; support cannot promise a refund before review.

8. Payments, invoices, refunds, and payouts

YallaSalon may use payment providers such as Stripe for subscriptions, deposits, customer-completed balance or fee links, refunds, and connected-account payouts. Provider availability, identity checks, reserves, disputes, and payout timing may affect a transaction.

A salon is the supplier on its customer receipt or supported invoice document. YallaSalon supplies the software and does not certify the salon's tax status, TRN, tax treatment, records, or filings. Final tax records should be reviewed with the salon's accountant or tax adviser.

9. WhatsApp, email, and marketing

Operational messages may include booking confirmations, reminders requested by a customer, account links, payment requests, receipts, and service notices. Marketing messages require the applicable affirmative channel consent, provider template, suppression, and opt-out controls.

The salon must not infer marketing consent from an imported contact, a booking, or the absence of an opt-out. Delivery is not guaranteed and may depend on provider approval, account status, network conditions, and recipient settings.

10. AI-assisted features

YallaSalon may route WhatsApp or other conversations to a salon using a QR code, booking link, salon slug, salon name match, current conversation context, or another authorized salon identifier. The salon must keep its routed data, settings, policies, availability, and instructions accurate and must review sensitive outcomes through the authorized product workflow.

YallaSalon may provide AI-assisted replies, drafting, summaries, or guidance. Outputs may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect and do not replace salon judgment or legal, tax, accounting, financial, medical, or other professional advice.

Payments, refunds, cancellations, rescheduling, permissions, exports, deletion, and other sensitive actions must use authorized deterministic workflows rather than an AI answer alone.

11. Data, privacy, and confidentiality

The Privacy Policy describes YallaSalon's processing. Salons remain responsible for their own notices, lawful bases, instructions, and client-data obligations. Each party must protect confidential information and use it only for an authorized purpose.

12. Acceptable use

You must not use YallaSalon to:

  • Break the law, violate another person's rights, or publish unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, deceptive, explicit, or harmful material.
  • Access, test, scrape, export, or interfere with accounts, venues, data, or systems without authorization.
  • Bypass security, tenant isolation, rate limits, payment checks, booking rules, provider controls, or staff permissions.
  • Send phishing, malware, fraudulent requests, spam, or unauthorized marketing.

13. Third-party services

Hosting, database, payment, messaging, email, analytics, maps, AI, security, and support providers may have their own terms, restrictions, outages, fees, and review processes. YallaSalon remains responsible for selecting and managing its providers as required for its role but cannot guarantee a provider's uninterrupted operation.

14. Product changes and availability

YallaSalon may add, change, limit, suspend, or remove features for security, legal, provider, reliability, or product reasons. Material changes that affect paid scope or accepted legal terms require appropriate notice and renewed acceptance where required by applicable law or the nature of the change.

15. Suspension, cancellation, termination, and data exit

An owner may use the cancellation controls shown in Billing. YallaSalon may restrict or terminate access for non-payment, material breach, security or legal risk, provider requirement, or harmful misuse, subject to mandatory law and notice where appropriate.

Export, deletion, retention, and post-termination access depend on the product workflow, the data type, verified identity, payment or dispute records, tax and accounting duties, security needs, backups, and any scoped legal hold.

16. Intellectual property

YallaSalon or its licensors own the platform software, design, brand, workflows, and documentation. Salons keep their rights in salon content and data, while granting the limited rights needed to host, process, display, and transmit that material to provide the service.

17. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided subject to mandatory law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right, remedy, warranty, or liability where the applicable law does not permit that exclusion or limitation.

YallaSalon does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, provider acceptance, message delivery, payment completion, a particular business result, or the legal or tax adequacy of salon-configured content.

18. Governing law, complaints, and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Subject to any mandatory consumer protection or other non-excludable right, the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates have exclusive jurisdiction. Customers and salons may first send a written complaint to the support contact below without losing any mandatory right.

19. Legal-document changes and contact

Material legal-document changes must receive a new immutable release identifier and the required notice or reacceptance. Questions may be sent to support@yallasalon.me; general support to support@yallasalon.me; privacy requests to support@yallasalon.me; and security reports to support@yallasalon.me. Do not email passwords, OTPs, full card data, secrets, or private customer exports.
