Add staff members and set permissions

Add barbers, stylists, and managers to your YallaSalon shop, assign services, set working schedules, and control access to reports, POS, and settings.

Quick summary

Each staff member needs a role, services, and a working schedule. Choose permissions carefully so only managers can see reports, POS totals, or change settings.

Step-by-step

  1. Step 1

    Open Staff settings

    Sign in as owner and go to Staff. Click Add staff to create a new member.

    Open: /staff
  2. Step 2

    Pick a role

    Owner: full access. Manager: bookings, POS, reports. Staff: own calendar and bookings only. Front desk: bookings + POS, no reports.

  3. Step 3

    Assign services

    Tick the services this staff member can perform. Customers will only see them as a booking option for those services.

  4. Step 4

    Set the working schedule

    Add weekly hours and breaks. The booking page only shows slots when the assigned staff member is working.

  • Can two staff members share an account?
    No. Each staff member needs their own account so the calendar, reports, and POS history stay accurate.
